- Abstract
The article discusses a study which reviewed self-reported concussive history of amateur rugby league players to identify concussions within a two-year period, concussive events before the time frame and medical review and clearances for return-to-play. An analysis was conducted on all medical pre-competition questionnaires competed by amateur rugby league players in Wellington, New Zealand. It notes that only 7.5% of players asked for medical assistance after their concussive event.
