- Abstract
The article presents a study which explores the changing trends in the beliefs about the harmfulness and use of smokeless tobacco and smoking cessation medications in adult smokers in four countries including Australia, Canada, the U.S. and Great Britain. The study involved telephonic survey on public education and access to alternative forms of tobacco. Results showed that knowledge on low health risks and alternative of nicotine remained low across all four countries.
