- Abstract
The article reports on the public hearing to be conducted by the Commerce Ministry of Thailand to introduce penalties to fight piracy and intellectual property infringement. It mentions that the committee of copyright violation suppression has resolved to amend the Copyright Act to increase penalties for individuals who buy and sell faked products. It adds that the Commerce Ministry also seeks the assistance of its neighboring countries to fight the smuggling of illegal products across borders.
