- Abstract
The article reports that Malaysia will establish special courts to hear copyright violation cases and boost efforts to control piracy in the software and entertainment industries. Intellectual property courts will operate in Malaysia's 13 states to help settle the backlog of over 1,500 copyright protection cases. According to the article, the effort indicates the commitment of Malaysia to provide effective protection for intellectual property.
