Title
Copyright law in New Zealand.
Abstract
The article reports that the Copyright Amendment Bill, entitled New Technologies and Performers' Rights, in New Zealand would impose up to five years of imprisonment and a maximum penalty of $150,000 for people who publish information or sell devices to circumvent copyright protection technology. The amendment however allows people to get around copyright protection software only for personal use.
