Abstract
The article presents a clinical study examining the efficacy of influenza vaccination during the third trimester of pregnancy. The study involves 340 women who were randomized to receive inactivated influenza vaccination or pneumovax injection. It reveals that the cases of influenza and any respiratory illness decreased in the group of babies whose mother has received influenza vaccination.
