Abstract
The article focuses on the historic peace churches which are comprised of three groups including the Church of the Brethren, the Mennonites, and the Religious Society of Friends. It mentions that a long tradition of Christian nonviolence rooted in European Anabaptism is shared by the Brethren and Mennonites.
