The article discusses the musical considerations or indicators of quality in choral repertoire. It presents guiding questions intended for teacher-conductors as they select repertoire for use in Kodály-inspired choral ensembles. Some of the myriad musical considerations teacher-conductors should take into account when selecting quality repertoire for their ensembles are explored.
