- Authors
SHULMAN, DAVID
- Abstract
David Shulman has been a member of Ta'ayush ("Arab-Jewish Partnership"), founded in October 2000 at the outbreak of the second Intifada. The group has specialized in political action within the occupied territories in the classical tradition of civil disobedience, in the footsteps of Gandhi, Thoreau, and Martin Luther King. Many of its efforts have been directed at protecting the innocent Palestinian civilian population of the South Hebron Hills from the continuous depredations of Israeli settlers and soldiers.
