- Abstract
The article offers information on the iconic figures in American history who were discussed in an experimental text written by Norman Denzin. White Anglophone travelers Meriwether Lewis and William Clark set off across uncharted American territory in 1804, coming from Missouri and reaching the Pacific Ocean in Oregon. The authors pointed out that Denzin's focus on Native American woman Sacagawea presented a need to create a counter-narrative to mainstream American history.
