- Authors
Samuel Reich, Eugenie
- Abstract
The article focuses on the budget prioritization between three U.S. physics facilities. It states that a nuclear-science advisory committee to the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Department of Energy will discuss which among the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC), Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB), and the Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility (CEBAF) will be closed. Meanwhile, it says that only two among the three facilities will be supported by the funding budget.
