- Abstract
Taking the typical smart city application as the sence, this paper introduces the latest 5G communication technology into the practical teaching of "Mobile Communication" course, and constructs a virtual simulation experiment teaching system for the planning and design of narrow band internet of things. The experimental teaching system carries out the planning and design of NB-IoT network from the two aspects of city and community, which can enable students to master the principle, technology and application of the latest mobile communication system, improve students' ability to solve complex engineering problems and consider non-technical factors, and establish a view of engineering systems and engineering ethics.
