- Abstract
Phenolic compounds in marine fuel oil are enriched by alkaline washing extraction method. The optimum enrichment conditions are as follows: extraction temperature 60 °C, alkali concentration 25%, alkali washing method 50% + 50%. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of phenolic compounds are performed by GC-MS. The results show that more than 50 phenolic compounds are identified in marine fuel oil, mainly inferior and advanced phenolic monomers. The mainly inferior phenolic monomers mainly include phenol, methylphenol, xylenol and ethylphenol, with a total amount of more than 40%. Advanced phenolic monomers mainly include C3 - C4 phenols with a total amount of more than 20%, such as trimethylphenol and propyl phenol. There are also naphthol, phenanthrenol, indenol, fluorenol and diphenol with a total amount of more than 10% .
