- Abstract
The article presents information related to military art and science. The U.S. Navy procured 750 "fuzzbusters," radar-warning receivers, from the Whistler Corp. in Westford, Massachusetts. A Soviet warfare plane wandered over restricted Japanese military airspace because of a malfunction in its navigation system. The Osberg Bravo oil derrick platform in the North Sea was struck by the West German anti-submarine warfare exercise because of a malfunction in the sonar system of the boat.
