- Abstract
The article discusses the application of computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasonography in cervical brachytherapy for the management of cervical cancer. Topics covered include other treatment such as external-beam radiation therapy and chemotherapy, factors affecting the therapy focusing on tandem and ovoid applicators, residual disease and uterus, and the benefits of using 3-dimensional imaging in evaluating affected organs, dose coverage, and localizing the disease site.
