- Abstract
The IV Iberoamerican Congress of Naval Engineering was held in Seville and Ferrol, with 101 works submitted by researchers, navy personnel, and companies from 12 countries in America and Europe. The majority of works were submitted by universities (66.34%), followed by companies (27.72%) and navy personnel (5.94%). Spain had the highest representation, followed by Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Chile, and Panama. The number of authors tended to be greater for works from universities, and the main subject areas discussed were shipbuilding, ship design, renewable energies, and digitalization.
