- Abstract
The article focuses on the International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD) guidelines for insulin treatment in children and adolescents with diabetes. It mentions that insulin doses should be adapted to the circadian variation based on the daily pattern of blood glucose, regardless of mode of insulin therapy. It informs that regular soluble insulin is used in combination with intermediate-acting insulin in twice daily regimen.
