- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 27-year-old Saudi Arabian woman presented at 31 weeks of gestation with progressive dyspnea and enlarging abdomen. The patient was diagnosed with congenital chloride diarrhea (CCD), an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by impaired chloride absorption. The authors discuss the essence of early recognition of CCD and aggressive volume and salt replacement to prevent devastating disease complications.
