- Abstract
Taking literacy as theme, the article observes narratives of subjects who know reading, in order to look for mechanisms and networks printed in literacy. As an aid to the epistemological reflection, we sought dialogue with the philosophical implications of modern science. Although recent researches in literacy have not matched this paradigm, it was from this reference that, in large part, their results were applied in school. As a methodological approach, interviews were conducted by accessing the memory by listening to narratives. The study results showed that, when questioned about their own literacy, subjects sought references in the other and in the dynamics that were directed to them, revealing that his learning was forgotten. It was also noted that literacy is usually assigned a method, a curriculum and an evaluation, fueling the idea that learning occurs through the transfer. The findings reinforced the critiqueof loss of meaning when the word is devoid of the text, and were found bricolages inside the methods, performed by the subjects, in the effort to take literacy as a practical that is thought. All this confirms the influence of modern thought toward the literacy, making difficult that the perception of the complexity of cognitive processes not consistent with the mechanism.
