- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 41-year-old man who underwent left anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) via semitendinouss and gracilis autograft after a football injury. Topics include magnetic resonance appearances which were felt to be more consistent with disuse atrophy, linked to decreased compliance with post-operative rehabilitation, improvement of his functional capacity after being referred for targeted physiotherapy, and benefit from progressive resistance training.
