The article discusses the arguments within the book "The Ends of Harm: The Moral Foundations of Criminal Law" by Victor Tadros wherein critiqued is the moral justification of criminal punishment and the theories concerned. Explored are the analogies on the moral and political philosophy between punishment and defensive force. Highlighted are the negative and positive views regarding the book's argument on the theory of punishment.
