- Abstract
The article discusses the statement from Amnesty International (AI) that freedom of expression in Ethiopia is constricted after a number of activist group members and journalists who are in opposition to the government were arrested three days before the celebration of the World Press Freedom Day and the arrival of U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry. Also discussed are the reactions of the International Press Institute (IPI), and the Zone 9 group whose members were arrested.
