- Abstract
The article presents case study of a 43-year-old Japanese woman who had type 2 diabetes mellitus and dyslipidaemia and was diagnosed with acute aortic thrombosis which occurs due to high blood flow in the aorta. Topics discussed include use of computed tomography (CT) for investigating source of fever the patient was suffering from; clinical diagnosis of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE); and information on aortic thrombosis related to antiphospholipid antibodies (aPL).
