- Abstract
The article discusses several legal proceedings involving U.S. long-arm statutes, Internet law, and personal jurisdiction as of November 2011, focusing on cases dealing with U.S. copyright infringement, nonresident defendants, and the intentional interference with contracts. In the case Hinners v. Robey, the Kentucky Supreme Court held that the state's long-arm statute could extend to a Missouri-based defendant who allegedly misrepresented a vehicle on the eBay auction website.
