- Title
ENHANCING Real Estate CURRICULUM.
- Abstract
The article focuses on a collaborative research among faculty members on real estate curriculum in Baylor University. Charles Delaney, associate professor of Real Estate and John T. Rose, professor of Finance and the Harriette and Walter G. Lacy Jr. Chair of Banking, noticed a contradiction on the description of the treatment of financing costs in net present value (NPV) analysis in real estate and finance textbooks. Steven Rich, associate professor of Finance joined the professors in reviewing several introductory finance and real estate textbooks. The paper "Financing Costs and NPV Analysis in Finance and Real Estate" was published by Delaney, Rich and Rose in the 2008 issue of the "Journal of Real Estate Portfolio Management."
