- Abstract
The article focuses on issues discussed from the Special Educational Needs (SENCo) forum in Great Britain. The issues include how SENCos must relate to the special needs governor in their school and vice versa, governors' responsibilities for the SENCo, and the roles and functions of SENCos in regulations which came into force in September 2009. Moreover, the forum showed that there is wide diversity in the way schools and their governors implement the regulations.
