- Abstract
The article discusses a study which investigated the vulnerability of egg clutches in Ascia monuste orseis butterflies. Topics discussed include the role of the size of egg clusters on egg failure and larval hatching rate, cannibalism which results to larval mortality, and the vulnerability of females to predators during oviposition.
