- Abstract
The article stresses the importance of patient satisfaction in the oncology practices. Patient-related outcomes derived from surveys have been emphasized by the Joint Federal Committee of the U.S. as a crucial part of relevant quality management systems. It adds that patient satisfaction is necessary for quality monitoring medical oncology as well as a determinative factor in assessing physician-patient relationship.
