- Abstract
The letter to the editor discusses the impact of primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD) on sinonasal quality of life (QoL), particularly in children. The authors compare the sinonasal QoL of patients with PCD to those with cystic fibrosis (CF) and find that patients with PCD have more severe sinusitis symptoms. They also highlight the unique challenges faced by pediatric patients with PCD and the need for targeted assessment and further study in this population. The authors suggest that sleep symptoms, such as obstructive sleep apnea, may be particularly impacted in teenage patients with PCD.
