- Abstract
The article discusses insurance coverage and how there exists uncertainty over whether or not such coverage would be extended to successors. In other words, would the acquiring company have any legal right to its successor's right to collect any losses? In the Case of Henkel Corp. v. Hartford Accident & Indemnity Co., the California Supreme Court had to decide whether or not the insurance provider was liable for corporate losses that had occurred prior to the company's acquisition.
