- Abstract
The article offers information on the attributes and significance of storytelling to students in Ohio. It is a kind of art using vocal skills of language, gestures, physical movement, facial expressions and artifacts to effectively communicate a cultural or historical account. To effectively narrate a story, one should consider several elements including characterization, connections, change and conflict. Moreover, it is also suggested to have an eye contact with the audience, voice inflection and gestures while reading or telling a story to students.
