- Abstract
In the article, Fe3O4/attapulgite/polyvinylalcohol composites were successfully prepared by the method of coprecipitation. SEM, XRD, and FTIR were used to make characterizations of properties. The composites were flake form. The composites had the ability to treat methyl orange effectively in neutral condition. The best dosage of polyvinyl alcohol was 0.7715 g. With the increase of H2O2and the prolonging of the laying time, the absorbance decreased. When the dosage of H2O2 was 15 mL and the laying time was 24 h, the efficiency of treatment was 99.99%.
