- Abstract
The article focuses on the family history of a Scottish family that immigrated to the Eastern Townships region of Quebec beginning in the 19th century. The family consisted of John Ewing, his wife Jean Carter and their eight children, who were all born in Scotland. The collection of letters that was used to research this family's history was found in California, which was where one of the children moved during the early 20th century.
