- Abstract
The article presents a letter to the editor related to textile dyes and also the editors response to that letter. The letter was written in response to an article which concluded that a statistical 95% confidence level interlaboratory reproducibility varied from ± 2.3% to 8.2% depending on the dye measured. Furthermore a test laboratory conducted to counter attack the article's conclusion is also been cited. The editor in response states that there is a need to develop simple testing methods that can be operated in textile mills.
