- Abstract
The article discusses the best practices to clean water mains. It mentions that site-specific conditions must be considered in the selection of an appropriate main-cleaning technique. It says that a scraping device can be used for cleaning the interior of the pipe down to bare metal with the accompaniment of a pipe lining method. Moreover, distribution system water can be used for propelling the pig.
