- Abstract
The article discusses the treatment and clinical implications of co-occurring mania and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in youths. It says that a major component of the debate regarding the validity of the diagnosis of bipolar disorder in youths rests with its high overlap with ADHD. According to the author, the relationship between ADHD and bipolar disorder remains unclear. The symptoms shared by ADHD and mania are also discussed.
