- Abstract
(a) Done at third episode of intussusception; (b) done at fourth episode of intussusception; and (c) done 3 months post last episode of intussusception along with magnetic resonance imaging of abdomen. Pneumatosis intestinalis can be a benign imaging finding in paediatric patients with no signs of peritonitis who have remained on long term immunosuppression. Our patient was clinically well with a non-tender abdomen, so we decided to attempt reduction of the intussusception by air enema.
