- Abstract
The article discusses the importance of collaboration and Common Core standards in bridging the gap between high school and university English Language Arts (ELA) instruction at Northern Kentucky University (NKU). Those involved in the Literacy Enhancement Project for Student Success (LEPS) at NKU promote a sustained investment in literacy instruction through cross-grade-level and cross-curricular projects. Professional development workshops being conducted by the university are discussed.
