- Abstract
Measurement of blood pressure is done frequently in hospitalized patients with an automated, noninvasive blood pressure device. While manufacturers have made significant design improvements which may have improved the accuracy of these devices, limited research is available on their performance in clinical practice. The purpose of this study was to determine the accuracy of a contemporary automated, noninvasive blood pressure device in hospitalized medical patients.
