The article focuses on issues surrounding the U.S Vice President's constitutional status within the American constitutional system and the separation of powers. Topics discussed include the position occupied by the Vice President in both the legislative and executive branches, the factors that help in determining what branch an official is in, and separation of powers within the Legislative, Executive and Judicial branch of the government.
