- Abstract
The article presents information on Roman private law and the economics methodology during the classical system. It discusses commerce and finance, the private law on property and its obligation. It further focuses on private morality in constructing Roman social order and the private procedural methods of the Roman legal system. It also discusses the application of Roman law and economics in Latin American legal systems for reorganizing the private law.
