- Abstract
The article cites the challenge for British rabies researchers to cycle 200 miles back to the Animal Health and Veterinary Laboratories Agency (AHVLA) in Weybridge, Surrey, England from the Institut Pasteur in Paris, France on August 13, 2011 as part of the annual September 28 World Rabies Day activities. 400 people worldwide would have died of rabies in the three days it took to cycle from Paris to Weybridge. It cites the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation's efforts to prevent the disease. INSET: Success in South Africa.
