- Title
Time for reform.
- Abstract
The author discusses the appeals made by a group of 20 associations, including animal charities and law enforcement agencies, for amendments to the Dangerous Dogs Act in Great Britain. He claims that the call for reforms was timely as incidents of dog attacks are frequently reported. He cites the consultation conducted by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) in England and Wales on the need to reform the law. He claims that the British Veterinary Association (BVA) is among the groups calling for reform.
