- Abstract
The article focuses on the issues based on the U.S Violence Against Women Act of 1994 along with its impact on the U.S Supreme Court as well as the international law. The U.S Supreme Court cases based on the issue of abortion include United States v. Castleman, Deshaney v. Winnebago County Department of Social Services and Roe v. Wade. It also discusses the Supreme Court case Planned Parenthood v. Casey on the constitutionality of several Pennsylvania state regulations regarding abortion.
