- Abstract
The article discusses the author's call for the establishment of a private right of action (PROA) under Section 5 of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Act as of 2015, and it mentions America's FTC agency, as well as judicial authority, state consumer protection laws in the country, and the legal rights of consumers in the U.S. Legislative amendments and the U.S. Congress are examined, along with the PROA-related cases Holloway v. Bristol-Myers Corp. and Moore v. New York Cotton Exchange.
