- Abstract
The article presents a case study on the diagnosis of Bouveret's syndrome to an 87-year old lady in Great Britain. The computed tomography (CT) scanning or upper gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy was conducted to be able to confirm the diagnosis of an impacted gallstone. The patient underwent extracorporeal shockware lithotripsy (ESWL) to be able to remove the very large gallstone.
