- Abstract
The article discusses the use of tai chi by the College of Nursing at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock to teach gerontology to nursing students. The university offered the course to senior nursing students to prepare them for the projected growth of the older adult population. The move is aimed at making the students experience healthy lifestyle changes during their clinical rotations. Students who are taking the course found that they have improved regarding their perspectives on the positive roles of the environment.
