- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 79-year-old male having myasthenia gravis on chronic prednisone therapy. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed multifocal abscesses located in the bilateral lower extremities in the muscle beds. Computed tomography (CT) chest revealed ground-glass opacities and bilateral pleural effusions in the right upper lobe, recommending pulmonary nocardiosis having dissemination secondary to immunosuppression.
