Title
Micro-evolutionary divergence patterns of mandible shapes in wild house mouse (Mus musculus) populations.
Abstract
The article presents a study on the micro-evolutionary divergence patterns of mandible shapes in wild house mouse populations. The study covers 24 populations and strains of the subgenus Mus including wild-caught, captive and inbred mice. Only adult specimens were included in the study, juveniles being identified by the small size of their skull and mandibles and low tooth wear.
