- Abstract
The article reviews the challenges faced by families travelling overseas. Topics discussed include how malaria prophylaxis may be challenging to babies so the author discourages trips to malarious parts of sub-Saharan Africa in the very young, the need for young travellers to be up to date with their routine childhood immunizations and the need for parents to be advised on the importance of sterilization of bottles and warned that it may not be safe to use bottled water to make up formula.
